Going Green with Bamboo.

I am not certain that this is exactly the right place to post this, but I would like you to share this with your readers, please. As a Minneapolis real estate agent, I am always interested in promoting discussion about "green" construction and building techniques.

Here is a post I wrote about bamboo floors:

Thank You.

It's difficult to make an exact calculation because the carbon footprint of so many things is unknown - for example, the amount of CO2 emitted in the manufacturing of your shoes. But the basics are known, and can give a very good picture of how your choices contribute to global warming. The kind of home you live in, how much you drive, and how often you fly can account for half a person's carbon footprint.

The carbon footprint is a new area of exploration. My opinion, is every thing we do will help even if we cannot measure it.

I commend those who are determined to promote the green initiative in construction, where this ideology can really make a huge impact.

As a supplier in the industry, I have been intrigued by the influx of green products and initiatives in the industry within the past year or so.

I wouldn't mind touring the house!!
